Carving the support
On the dial or case of the watch, use a micro-carving knife to carve out the support for the diamond. This process is very delicate and must ensure that the shape of the support matches the diamond perfectly. The depth and width of the engraving need to be precisely controlled to ensure that the diamond is firmly fixed.
Fix the diamond
Use the inlay pliers to carefully place the diamond into the pre-carved support. At this time, you can use a magnifying glass to carefully check the position and angle of the diamond to ensure that it is upright and completely symmetrical.
Fixing and polishing
Once the diamond is placed in the holder, use the setting hammer to gently tap the holder around, fold the edge of the holder inward, and fix the diamond. This step needs to be very careful to avoid damaging the diamond or changing its shape. After the fixing is completed, use fine tools to polish the edge of the holder to make it smooth and perfectly integrated with the diamond.
Inspection and finishing
After the setting is completed, check the firmness and arrangement of each diamond to ensure that the diamonds are not loose and are arranged neatly. If necessary, special tools can be used for fine-tuning.
